Case: 44790 Category: Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Age: 48 Weight: 155 Height: 5’ 1” Gender: Female Skin Tone: Medium Description: Abdominoplasty really addresses one of most common complaints after having children. This lovely NE Indiana patient came in to address the excess skin and fat pregnancies had left her with. Dr. Severinac of the Indiana Plastic Surgery Center performed a abdominoplasty with plication of the rectus fascia. This tightens the muscles of the abdomen stretched by the pregnancis, giving another dimension of tightening. This can be thought of as an internal corset. |
After photos were taken 5 Months after surgery/procedure.

Details: The pants have been pulled down so that the full extent of the incision can be seen. These will fade with additional healing to become skin colored. The effects of the rectus plication muscle tightening can be seen in the outer vertical shadows of the rectus muscle ("six pack muscle").

Details: The length of the incision is required to remove all of the excess tissues without having a "dog ear" at the ends of the incision.

Details: This side view shows it all, a much nicer contour the patient remembers before having all those babies.
