Breast Augmentation
Full, shapely breasts can make any woman feel more feminine,
beautiful, and secure. Breast augmentation is a cosmetic
procedure designed to increase and enhance the size
and shape of a woman's breast. The end result is a more
curvaceous, sexy bust line and a natural, proportionate
figure. During this outpatient procedure, an incision
is made beneath the breast and a saline implant is inserted
beneath the pectoral muscle. The end result is a full
and fabulous new figure. To learn more about breast
augmentation, please contact Indiana Plastic Surgery Center

Breast
Lift (Mastopexy)
Pregnancy, nursing, excessive weight loss or gain, or
the natural aging process can cause breasts to lose
their natural elasticity and sag. A breast lift can take
years off your body by correcting a drooping bust line
and restoring your curves to their youthful state. During
the procedure, excess skin and tissue are trimmed away
and the bust line is tightened and lifted. Remaining
tissue and the nipples are then repositioned for beautiful,
natural-looking results. A breast lift can also be combined
with breast augmentation for a fuller, more shapely
look. To find out more about breast lift, please contact
our office today.

Breast Reduction
Neck, shoulder, and upper back pain, bra strap indentations
on the shoulders, and general discomfort are an unfortunate
reality for women with exceptionally large, heavy breasts.
In addition to the significant discomfort and functional
limitations, women also suffer from embarrassment and
difficulty in finding bras and clothes that fit properly.
Breast reduction is similar to breast lift except a
significant amount of excess breast and fat tissue is
removed as well. The breasts are made smaller, lighter,
and more proportionate to the body. Depending on how
much breast tissue is to be removed, breast reduction
is often covered by insurance. Contact our practice
today to learn more about breast reduction surgery.

Body Contouring
A comprehensive approach to cosmetic enhancement, body
contouring involves reshaping the body’s problem
areas by combining several cosmetic procedures according
to a carefully designed surgical program. Whether it's
a flatter stomach, fuller breasts, the removal of surplus
skin following a major loss of weight, or more defined
legs and thighs you envision, body contouring can help
you achieve the results you desire. The benefits of
body contouring are the elimination of excess fat and
skin and an overall improvement in your body's tone
and appearance. For more information about body contouring,
please contact Indiana Plastic Surgery Center today.

Liposculpture
(Liposuction)
Having a hard time getting rid of those final bulges
after months or years of exercise and diet? Then you
may a perfect candidate for liposculpture. Dr. Severinac
coined the term “liposculpture” in 1993
when he began his plastic surgery training. He realized
that this technique involves more than just “sucking
fat.” He conceptualizes this as a sculpting process
where localized excess fatty deposits are contoured
to blend with surrounding contours. The smallest cannulas
or suction tubes are used through very small incisions
for precision in the sculpting process. The best results
are seen with patients near their ideal body weight,
and liposuction should never be used for weight loss. If you think
you might be a good candidate for liposuction and would

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Women suffer many body changes as a result of pregnancy
and weight fluctuations. Perhaps the most significant
is the abdomen. Even if you do dozens of stomach crunches
a day, you may find it impossible to lose the excess
fat and skin around your midsection. Abdominoplasty,
or “Tummy Tuck,” (a misnomer because there
is no tucking of tissue or skin) is the answer. An incision
is first made from one hip to the other coursing just
above the pubis. The skin and fat are separated from
the abdominal muscles. If needed, the abdominal muscles
can be tightened for an hour glass slimming effect in
the mid abdomen. Finally, the flap of skin is pulled
downward, the excess skin is removed, and the incision
is closed with sutures that are under the skin (you won't
even see them). Once healing is complete, you can expect
to enjoy a beautifully sculpted and flat stomach. Please

Upper Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)
Many people have excess tissue under the arms. For some,
it is just excess fat with relatively taught skin over
the area. These patients can be treated with liposculpture
alone (see above). Those with considerable weight loss
often have loose sagging skin. This stretched skin has
lost its elasticity and can no longer reform to a smaller
body shape. Arm lift, or brachioplasty, is an effective
means of removing excess skin and flab on the arms and
tightening the remaining tissue. The procedure involves
an incision coursing along the inside of the arm. If
you think you might be a good candidate for an upper
arm lift, please contact our office today to set up
a consultation.

Thigh Lift (Thighplasty)
As with upper arm lifts, thigh and buttocks lifts are
commonly performed for people following weight loss
in order to tighten up sagging skin that has lost its
elasticity. These procedures, however, can also be performed
on patients who would like to have smoother thighs and
knees and lifted buttocks. The thigh lift involves removal
of excess skin and fat from the inside of the thighs
for a tightening effect and from the upper thighs for
a lifting effect. The buttocks lift involves removal
of excess skin and fat from above the buttocks. The
scars from these procedures are typically concealable
with most clothing, but they can be noticeable with more revealing
clothing. For more information about thigh lift, please
contact Indiana Plastic Surgery Center today.

Buttock Augmentation
An overly flat buttocks can detract from one's figure.
Buttocks augmentation can give you the rounded buttocks
that nature didn’t or restore the taut shape your
backside had in its youth. Dr. Severinac is currently
researching the best approach for this procedure. Please
check back with us from time to time to find out more.

Spider Vein Treatment
(Sclerotherapy)
Unsightly spider veins on the upper legs, knees, and
calves trouble millions of women and can make them feel
insecure about their bodies—so insecure, in fact,
that they refuse to show their legs in shorts or skirts.
Spider veins are super-fine veins that appear on the
surface of the skin and most frequently take the shape
of a branching tree or spider legs radiating out from
a dark center. Fortunately, these veins are easily treated
with sclerotherapy. During the procedure, the doctor
injects a mild sclerosing solution into the veins to
make the insides “sticky,” causing them to
collapse on themselves. The initial result is a darkened
area which fades away in weeks to months. If your legs
also have the larger varicose veins, then we can refer
you to a practice with expertise in this area. To learn
more about sclerotherapy for spider veins, please contact
our practice today.
